Summary: The Intercontinental Times Square is a solid 4-star hotel ideally located for many of New York’s tourist attractions. The beige and brown decor of the hotel rooms is dated but the beds are comfortable, the cleanliness is good and the views from floors 20 and upwards are stunning.The lively bar and restaurant on the ground is a good spot for pre-nightout drinks if you can get a table (and that’s a big if). The staff on reception and in the bar vary in both attentiveness and friendliness but this shouldn’t deter you from staying. It is worth mentioning that the reservation staff we dealt with prior to our stay were exceptional.
